Our new family car!!!

Ok, so I'll be the first to admit that we aren't exactly following the church s advice. But , what do you do if your car blows up and it costs more to fix than its worth? We decided we couldn't take on a new house and new car at the same time, so after much research and looking around here it is! A Mercury Mountaineer. It's nice to have a reliable family car again. We love it, and I now know how much my husband loves me. This was my choice and his was the Durango. I hope it does as well as old gray, It's so scary spending that much money on one item. But then again, spending one thousand is too much for me. It was fun to see that we paid less for this than the Intrepid!!! Hopefully the house comes next year.

Bribes are good!

Breadon had his first piano recital yesterday. Just before we left he started having the butterfly in the stomach melt down. So Alan decided to bribe him with shopping for a toy after. It's so fun to see your child succeed. He was so cute. Sorry no pictures. I only saw two other people taking them of their kids, but not until after Braedon.
Kambrie's new do. She loves it, so do I. She has wanted a hair cut since I had mine done. Thanks Elisha!
For B-Days aunt Marlene sends gift cards. So awesome the kids love it. This is what Kambrie picked out. A Picnic basket with dishes, etc. It's so cute. We can't wait until it's warm to use it. It's very durable. Thank you for always thinking of us aunt Marlene!
We have our difficult times, but the fun times out weigh them by far!

AAAAAAAAH!!!

There's nothing like a hug and a kiss to make you feel better!

How many more things can go wrong! Last weekend we decided that its about time to buy a house and move on with our lives. That same weekend our car broke down. I spent all of Monday on the phone with mechanics, and friends trying to figure out what to do. The mechanics said to junk the car and that it would be a waste to try and fix it. That's hard for us to do, because we haven't had a car payment for a while now. Old silver has been such a good car for us. The mechanics were shocked to hear how many miles we got out of it, I guess Intrepids aren't known for their high millage, but for some miracle ours went well beyond it's life expectancy. The Church is advising that we all get out of dept and work on food storage(which there is no room for in our home now). What better way to show that we are listening then to go and do the complete opposite. We are so excited to get into the house, but totally bummed about having a car payment. For a while now I have been trying to find a job that will work well with Breadon's schedule of being able to send him off to school in the morning and being here to help him with his homework when he gets home. He is doing so awsome in school, and I don't want to mess with that. If any one can shed a little sunshine on my rainy parade please do so! Before I go in a corner and start to cry. We could use any advise you may have! Thank goodness for such awsome neighbors, friends an an amazing family that help me when I need it most. I guess it's times like these when ones faith is really tested. I pray that I will pass with flying colors. Sorry for the not so happy post, I have been reading a couple of others and I am glad to see I am not a lone in the ranting department!

I've Been Tagged

This is the 4th picture in my files. It's from last year . I have no idea why she is doing this, I'm thinking she was just being her silly little self and I wanted to catch her in the act. I hope this is what I was supposed to do. If not, oh well! Sami, Amy, Lynae and Kristi you have been tagged! You need to post the fourth picture in your file and tell about it, then tag 4 of your friends.

Happy 4th B-Day Kambrie!!!

Grandma Sharp said to take plenty of pictures , so here we go!!!
Happy Birthday to our gorgeous little girl!
It has not been a boring 4 years, that's for sure!
Let's get this party started!
Decorating treat bags and cupcakes. Nothing like seeing a child's imagination!
Ta Da! The finished products! They had so much fun with this.
My attempts at making her cake. Ten bucks says you can't guess what it's supposed to be!
She loved picking it out and helping me make it! My feelings will not be hurt if I don't get asked how to make it, I promise!
This is why I love these cakes. No forks or plate. Just grab and eat!
I just love presents time. This time I got to see one before they all disappeared.
Alright, who took a page out my book and used Christmas paper!

Who said she could grow up this quick? I'm so proud of her, she crashed twice and still can't get enough! That, she does not get from her mom. They all ended up outside riding on anything
they could find. Another B-Day success, for the books!
Braedon is next with his big #8 in May! Stay tuned!

What are weekends for?

What an amazingly fun and busy weekend. On Sat. my nephew was taking his endowments out and getting his scouts Court of Honor. I was so excited to go because we haven't done a session in the Manti Temple since I got my own out. There was only 5 from my family that were able to attend. We left at 10:00 am. We are so lucky that Alan's parents live in Delta as well. They are so helpful, as they are always willing to watch the kids. His Court of Honor was at 7:00 and we got back from Manti a little before 6:00. So as you can imagine we had a long day. The spiritual up lift was defenitly overdue. I love our family get together's! We eat, play cards, and laugh. Thanks for including us in your very important and memorable day Brandon. We wish you the best of luck in the Brisbane Australia Mission. We love you!!

The last time we had our picture taken in this spot was 11 years ago this month. I've decided I look a lot better in white! Sorry, I don't have a picture of all that attended. I hope to have one soon.
I love this picture! Braedon and Abby with missing teeth, only ones in the family at this time.
This is Kambrie's idea of waiting while Iget ready. She was so tired this day.

Summer Dinners in the Winter!

I was watching one of those day time TV talk shows, and they were saying how January should be called the soup month. So what did we decide sounded good for dinner? BBQ CHICKEN. We decided we were kind of tired of soup. Since grandma and grandpa were going to come for dinner, we would have yummy bbq chicken. Ya I know crazy. But it sure was yummy.
This was so dang cute. Kambrie is now into styling her dolls hair, and mine.
"Grandpa you softy". He looked gorgeous!

Braedon loves to play checkers with Grandma and Grandpa. He is such a smart little cutie, and Grandmas little guy to boot. Grandpa, in case you didn't know, your Fun Bag is a huge hit!!!

Daddy and me time!!!

Alan's brothers dog Jewel protecting Kambrie, since mommy and daddy were partying at Grama Berta's. Talk about a sweet dog.

We just love little Tao as if he was our own. He is such a cutie. These two are pretty much inseperable. If one of them is out of town, they don't know what to do with themselves. Notice the height difference. They are only 2 months apart. I'm so proud. I never thought it was possible.
