Summer with friends!

Quik laugh for all! So the other morning, as I was getting ready to go running, I hear this watch timer going off. Just as i opened my door, I see Braedon walking back to his room very sleepy, looks at me and says "The watch wouldn't stop beeping." As I was walking out the front door, I

noticed it was unlocked, and thought it strange because Alan always locks it when he leaves for work. Locking it behind me when I left, didn't think about it again... Now, as I am doing my cool down stretching outside, I look up, and lowe and behold lying just outside the door is Braedons watch. I had to smile, even laugh a little. So now you know what to do with the alarm that won't shut off!

For a while now my friend Steff has wanted to take us to the Spanish Fork Res. Yesterday
was such a perfect day for swimming. We had so much fun.

Braedon and his new friend Riley, Steff's nephew. I missed a picture of the two trying to catch a fish with their hands. It was so funny.

Steff's niece Mikala and Kambrie. All the kids loved going out on the raft with her.

Kambrie swam for about 20 mins. then just wanted to play in the sand. Best thing about this sand, it wasn't as fine as others, so it came off feet and other stuff much easier. Great for clean car freaks like me!

Family Night!

We decided it would be fun to take the kids to the canyon and roast hot dogs. Great idea! The kids only stopped running for food. It is so awesome that we can just go 15 or 20 mins up the canyon and feel like we are completely away from the world.

Happy 4th of July

So, I hope all of my friends and family had a fun 4th of July, Because we did! We partied every day so late, that when it came time of the 4th we were all very tired, hence most of the looks on Kambries face. We sure enjoyed spending time with both families. Hope to see you here next year Aunt Marlene!

My Nephew Hayden spent all weekend with us, while his parents packed to go to Africa to pick my oldest nephew off his mission. He sure enjoyed himself. I guess he is now part of the Sharp family, he calls Alan's mom Grandma Sharp. It's so cute.

The slip n' slide was a hit. They played for almost three hours. At first Kambrie, Braedon and Hayden were the only ones who knew what to do. But the others caught on fast.

Clean and Pure!!!

I still can't believe that Alan and I have a child old enough to be baptized, but it happened!
The only thing that went wrong that day is that I forgot to check that the camera had a memory card. So it ran out of internal memory and we cant find the cable to hook up the camera to the computer, so we only have a few pictures that were taken on the memory card. Hopefully, we will find it soon or I will seriously cry. The pictures of him in his baptism clothes are on there, and a few others after. Other than that, all went well. We got our prayers answered as far as weather went. The two days before were just down right scary. Our day turned out gorgeous. After the baptism we had a bbq at the church pavilion. It was so much fun. I just love being with my family, they are all so supportive. Allie and Karalina, thank you so much, I know it was not easy getting home so late and then traveling early morning to make it. I loved watching Braedon come up out of the water with a huge grin on his face. He said it was it was fun. Now on to the hard and important part, helping him remember the promises he made. But if anyone can do it it's Braedon. Hope all is well with everyone. More pictures later! (Hopefully).

Just for fun!

So I thought I would do a fun but simple post! Those of you who know Braedon, know that he loves to hang out with his friends and cousins. We have tried so hard to help him understand how important it is to help people feel happy and special. The result is shown above. "For always being a friend to everyone & always making them feel special" We are so proud of him!

And I can't forget Kambrie of course. She says the funniest things! She loves that kbyu cartoon Super Why, it tells all the classic children s stories in a more simple and very cute way. She loves it. The other day she went up to Alan in the kitchen and kissed his leg about three times really fast, then said in the sweetest voice,"I kissed you into a frog daddy!" We had a good laugh. I can't wait for the next one!

Memorial Fun!

I am so grateful for my freedom! And I do know the Price!

So, how many of you made it to a Memorial Day service? That night I was watching the news, and they had a veteran on, he said that anymore the only people that go and observe are the veterans. Wow, what a wake up call. On our way home that day, Braedon asked what Memorial day was for, we explained that it was a day to remember all those who had died. I tried to go a little deeper and told him about the people who had died in wars, have served and are now serving. Too all soldiers I say THANK YOU! I was adopted into this country and am forever grateful for the those who have given their lives or are now putting theirs in danger, so that I can have a happy and safe one.

I love to camp with my family! We have fun, I think. Of course it being memorial day, I can't help but remember my dad, and how special these trips were to him. He loved the outdoors. Thank you mom for going through all the hard work still. I do know how important time with family is to you. It is for me as well, because of you!

Oak City Canyon looked so green and beautiful this year. Of course it
sprinkled almost the whole time we were up there. You can tell how much
sleep I didn't get by the bags under my eyes.

I can't believe how big my baby girl is getting.

We tried something new this year called Geocaching. I don't know how many of you know about this. Marg thought it would be fun, and it was. We found two, and hid one. You go online, print coordinates, and with a GPS go hunting for them. They are all over. It was fun!
I hope we can all remember all those who made it possible for us to be free to do all these things.

Happy 8th B-Day Braedon!!!

Our little boy is growing up so fast all of a sudden. He was so little for so long. It's hard to believe he was ever just short of 4lbs. I sure miss my baby boy, but am enjoying watching my smart, handsome young man. We are so proud of him. He is doing so well in school and piano, and loves all sports. Our house is the neighborhood gathering place for all of the kids in the picture. Braedons just a cute kid to be around he loves all of his friends and cousin Haydon. We love you Braedon!!!

I know the birthday cake is not the best looking one, but we decided to spend money on stuff that would last longer (new bike), and it was still yummy! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa, Grama Berta, and aunt Marlene for all the gifts. You are all so amazing! And we love you.
