Playing Catch up with February!
For some of you that have asked. This is what we have been up to. This post is mostly for my Mom and Auntie Marlene(of which we are very much hoping to see in June). Love you, and Enjoy!
Starting with Valentines! We don't really celebrate Valentines in our house, just because there is so much going on for the month, and the fact that it all pretty much falls in the same week, sums it all up. Anyhow, I remember growing up with my mom always doing something fun and small every Holiday, so I decided to be that kind of mom this year. What better way to show them I love them than to make there favorite breakfast with extra love! Braedon was kind of worried he wouldn't get full because the hearts were kind of small.
Next was Kambries 6th birthday on the 16th! I wanted to do a post just of her, but couldn't access old pictures. Aahh! She had a fun party with her cute friends. Kambrie loves her birthday in February, she thinks it's her birthday all week long. She is such a huge help to me. She always makes sure I will be ok before she leaves for school. I love to hear that she wants to stay little so she can be with me all the time.
Happy Anniversary to Alan and me on the 20th! Lucky # 13!
We celebrated on the 18th, because of all the happenings this weekend, and of course me being very prego and oh so comfortable(ya right). Alan took me on a day long date. It was enjoyable just to be with him. Even if I fell asleep in the car while he was talking a couple of times. It was a shopping, eating, movie watching day! He really is my better half. I am so blessed to have him in my life. I look forward to the next 13 years with him. Sorry no pics. I'm just not thinking of these things at this time.
Braedon's basketball game, and piano recital fell on the same day and part of our eventful weekend. No pic. of the recital, since apparently I can barely make it through a 25 min. recital with out needing to run to the restroom any more. I left the camera with Alan(coach). Yes Alan coached Braedon's basketball team. He did great. He started with a team where some of the boys had never even watched a basketball game. And they ended up doing great. Braedon loved it. So sorry no pics. of handsome, smiley Braedon at his recital! He was the only one that smiled while introducing himself and after playing. So proud of our little man. BTW, the basketball pic. is of his first game. They are done now, and not a moment too soon. And this is why...
Our new basement!=)!!! Alan worked super hard to get it done before the baby arrived. What took so long you ask? Well, between working many hrs of overtime, coming home and taking care of his very sick wife(playing Mr. mom) for a few months, and coaching Braedon's basketball team. I am lucky to still have a sane husband. He is such a hard worker, just so we can be happy. So proud of him, and love him more than words can say! After getting over the worst of my 9 month yuck(now only 1 month)=)! I was able to help with the painting, the trim(which looks great I must say) and cleaning to get ready for the carpet. We are loving the new addition. Feel free to stop by and crash for a bit if you are ever in our neighborhood.
Sorry for the long post, and if you just looked at the pics. I am proud of you! If you read the entire post, you really care about us and I love you. I am tempted to give a prize. I said tempted! Love you all!!!
