Our new family car!!!

Ok, so I'll be the first to admit that we aren't exactly following the church s advice. But , what do you do if your car blows up and it costs more to fix than its worth? We decided we couldn't take on a new house and new car at the same time, so after much research and looking around here it is! A Mercury Mountaineer. It's nice to have a reliable family car again. We love it, and I now know how much my husband loves me. This was my choice and his was the Durango. I hope it does as well as old gray, It's so scary spending that much money on one item. But then again, spending one thousand is too much for me. It was fun to see that we paid less for this than the Intrepid!!! Hopefully the house comes next year.

Bribes are good!

Breadon had his first piano recital yesterday. Just before we left he started having the butterfly in the stomach melt down. So Alan decided to bribe him with shopping for a toy after. It's so fun to see your child succeed. He was so cute. Sorry no pictures. I only saw two other people taking them of their kids, but not until after Braedon.
Kambrie's new do. She loves it, so do I. She has wanted a hair cut since I had mine done. Thanks Elisha!
For B-Days aunt Marlene sends gift cards. So awesome the kids love it. This is what Kambrie picked out. A Picnic basket with dishes, etc. It's so cute. We can't wait until it's warm to use it. It's very durable. Thank you for always thinking of us aunt Marlene!
We have our difficult times, but the fun times out weigh them by far!

AAAAAAAAH!!!

There's nothing like a hug and a kiss to make you feel better!

How many more things can go wrong! Last weekend we decided that its about time to buy a house and move on with our lives. That same weekend our car broke down. I spent all of Monday on the phone with mechanics, and friends trying to figure out what to do. The mechanics said to junk the car and that it would be a waste to try and fix it. That's hard for us to do, because we haven't had a car payment for a while now. Old silver has been such a good car for us. The mechanics were shocked to hear how many miles we got out of it, I guess Intrepids aren't known for their high millage, but for some miracle ours went well beyond it's life expectancy. The Church is advising that we all get out of dept and work on food storage(which there is no room for in our home now). What better way to show that we are listening then to go and do the complete opposite. We are so excited to get into the house, but totally bummed about having a car payment. For a while now I have been trying to find a job that will work well with Breadon's schedule of being able to send him off to school in the morning and being here to help him with his homework when he gets home. He is doing so awsome in school, and I don't want to mess with that. If any one can shed a little sunshine on my rainy parade please do so! Before I go in a corner and start to cry. We could use any advise you may have! Thank goodness for such awsome neighbors, friends an an amazing family that help me when I need it most. I guess it's times like these when ones faith is really tested. I pray that I will pass with flying colors. Sorry for the not so happy post, I have been reading a couple of others and I am glad to see I am not a lone in the ranting department!
