Far and in Between!
It's been too far and in between posts!  I know for some of you this is a good way to stay up to date in our families happenings, and I have slacked off somewhat, and for that I'm sorry!  Now we have to play catch up!  Most of the pics. are self explanatory!  Of course it's not a true post on here if it doesn't start with a family BYU game outing!
Happy Halloween from our little spooks!  Picking pumpkins out of grandma Sharps garden!

Just threw this one in for cuteness overload!  He loves the swings at the park.  In fact, don't leave him unattended outside for a half a second, he will be across the street before you know it!
Thanksgiving out our house this year was an amazing success!  Yes, I even surprised myself.  Turkey, yams, stuffing from scratch, mashed potatoes, rolls from scratch, you name it, we had it!  Everything, except the Dutson Family!  It's nice to know we can handle it on our own though!

It's family picture time!  And judging from the next picture, you can see just how much "fun" Jacks was during. I laughed so hard when this one popped up!  Never a dull moment with this one, and then....
He gives you this look, and you just melt!
I am so blessed to have my little girl.  She won't be little much longer!  She's the bees knees I tell you!  Such a smart kiddo!

I love comparing each picture session, I can't believe how time is flying!  Love these 2.

There very few moments when I don't have a smile on my face when this little guy is around!  And I hate how fast he is growing!  It doesn't matter where we are, he has to tell me a story, and it always starts with him getting my attention by yelling "mom, mom"  when I say "yes Jacks"  he starts with a story that I need a baby language dictionary to understand!  There are so many other pics. that I love from this session, but I don't think you want to be at your computer all day!
Love this picture!  Dad and his girl!  Boys beware, he is armed! If you want to see more, you're just going to  have come over and check out my picture covered walls...that is if I ever find the time to print out more than the usual!  Well, hopefully the next post won't be to far from this one!  Until then, Merry Christmas!  Love you all!

End of summer adventures!

I was hoping the order of the pics. was going to stay the way I added them, but the computer had a different idea!  Oh well!  Summer came and went in a flash!  Before we knew it, we were practicing bed time routine!  Bahaha, ya right!
Braed is officially done with Cub Scouts.  He is now in Boy Scouts.  Here he is right after I got done drawing on his face for his Arrow of Light!
We decided since we did't get to make it to Idaho Falls this summer, we would replace it with Lagoon!  It really is "What fun is"!  We rode and rode rides till we were dead on our feet!  We all tuckered out a the same time, so there was no crying when we said it was time to go home!  What an amazing day! My kid's are so much fun to hang out with!

Happy Birthday to me!  Wonderful day with my little family!  Texas Road House was calling my name! Kam is getting pretty good with the camera! (Oh, almost forgot, my hubby treated me to Les Miserables at the Shakespeare Festival in Sept. for one of my Bday gifts!)  It was amazing! Next on the list, WICKED!
1st day of 4th grade and 2nd!  They were very excited!  And yes Braed's eyes are puffy!  What? I did say we didn't make the bed time routine in time!
Are you ready for some BYU football!  This little man is!  No, that is not the world's biggest booger on his lip!  He burned his lip!  And mom win's mother of the year award, yet again!  Hooray it healed fast!
We never end summer without making it to the BYU kickoff! What Alan doesn't want me to tell you, is that he and a friend ran a quick trip to the practice game during their lunch break!  Ya, he's that crazy!
Hope everyone's school year is going great!  Now onto Fall, and soupy weather! Yeah!

Travels, Birthdays, and 1st's. Oh my!

I guess it's going to have to be quarterly posts!  But hey, better late than never right?  Although it does make for a very long post!
I realize the pics are out of order, pay no attention to the fact that I no longer know how to run blogger!  Because every time I get the hang of it, they change the format!  Oh well!  Starting with the above pic.  Jackson's 1st camping trip! It was so cold, he and his dad ended up in Delta!  Kambrie and I braved the tent both nights!  What was thinking?  You can report me to child services now!
As many of you may know, Alan and Kambrie along with his brother and daughter, and his mom, had the opportunity to go and see the oldest granddaughter Ashly, graduate from Yale!  That's right, folks we have a super smart family member!  Our claim to fame!  And yet all I can think of is, who is that poor little orphan girl in the front, and why doesn't her mom do her hair!  Trust me, it could have been worse had I not had it cut just before they left!

My Braedon is now 11!  WHAT? You say, she has an 11 year old?  You are so kind!  He grew up just over night I tell you!  Luckily, we have mini Braedon in Jackson!  The kid adores his older brother, especially his room!  Lucky for him, Braedon is such a sweet brother!
Look at this handsome boy!  11 years where did you go?  Thanks to my friend Morgan for sharing her talent in taking his pictures!  There isn't much this woman can't do!  So grateful for our friendship!

What a great way to spend these hot summer days!  Jackson's first swimming excursion!  He watched the kids at their lessons for 2 weeks, and we decided to let him in on the fun! He loved every second!

Hello?  This is Jackson, and I love to talk on the phone!  Especially after getting my 3rd hair cut!  Chip off the old block, always with the phone on his ear!  Hey Dix, how did you like that surprise call from him the other day?  Before I knew it, I hear, he's calling aunt Dix! I guess he missed his aunt Dix!
Hope you all had as wonderful of 4th as we did!  We spent almost a week in Delta with Alan's brother and his family!  Had a wonderful time catching up with my mom as well!  Thanks mom for the late night chats!  We already miss you tons!

While in Delta, Alan's mom had this wonderful idea to have a girls only adventure!  She called her friend, and had her come teach the girls how to ride a horse.  The girls looooved it so much, they did it again the next day!  Thank you Creeda!(spelling?)
The End is finally here!  One more thing, I have slacked off with picture taking because of my not so great camera!  Perhaps it's time to invest in a new one.... In a couple of years!  Happy travels to all of you this summer!!!

Celebrating 1 year!

March came and went in a flash!   Happy Birthday to all my family in March.  My mom, Aunt Marlene, Alan's dad, sisters, nieces, nephews!  It was a fun party as always!
Here we are in April, and it's passing just as fast!  We celebrated Alan's Bday on the 2nd. I think he knew after last year, that he was going to take the back seat for his Bday since Jackson was born the day after.  2 cakes in 2 days can do some major damage to a girls figure!  Waite the damage has already been done!
Can't believe that just a year ago, we were just welcoming this little guy into our lives/family!  What an amazing year!  He's just full of love, that sweet baby laughter, adventure, and an appetite for bugs!  A good friend of mine took these adorable pics.  So many to choose from.  But I won't make this post any longer by posting all the ones I love!
Happy Birthday to our little monkey!  He is climbing up and down the stairs, onto anything that he can lift his   little leg onto and pull himself up.
The pleased look on his face when we all sang to him around his highchair was priceless.  Too bad we were to busy trying to make sure he didn't burn himself on the candle to take the perfect pic.
The face was the first to go.  An ear in one hand and shoveling frosting in his mouth with the other.
Now we're talking!  Thanks aunt Dix for the help!  He was being too careful, so she took the pleasure of smearing it all over his face!

My sisters and mom, were so sweet to come and party with us!  They really did make it special for him!
Thanks Grandma for coming and having a sleepover!  The kid's loved it!
He took off with his present!  It was a bigger hit than I expected!  He has been braving walking on his own much more since this toy! Just what we wanted! Of course brother and sister cheering him on every step of the way helps!  They are just so amazing with him.  So proud of them!   Highly recommend this toy to anyone having problems getting there little one to walk!
Thanks to all for his Bday wishes, cards, and gifts.  Love you all!

Fabulous February!

That's right, it's that time of year!  The crazy week in February!
First of all, Happy Valentines Day to all!   A holiday we don't normally celebrate, seeing how we celebrate so many other happenings the same week! But this year I decided to help out in Braed's class.  Thank goodness for Jackson keeping 10 year old kids occupied!  Fun and tiring.
Next we move on to the 16th!  Our little girl is 7! What? Yep!  Take a look at that fabulous cake.  This girly is full of love, smarts, smiles, oh and of course attitude.  But that's to be expected, after all she is her Grandma Sharp's girl! Bahaha!    Yes, yes,  we all know where she gets it.  We had a small party with her cute little friends.  Such cute little faces!  Thanks to grandmas, grandpa, and Great Aunts for the fabulous gifts.  She is in heaven with all the money and presents!

Then, it's off to Braed's Basketball, and Piano excitement on the 18th!  He has been working so hard at both.  For the past couple of years, he has had a game and recital on the same day.  He worked so hard at both.  He makes great improvement in both every year!  He was so excited for this years recital, because he worked so hard on a very tough song.  His teacher wanted to challenge him, he loved it after about the 1st week of trying to play almost a whole song full of flats.  After all the improvement and challenges, we found out we need to find a new teacher!  I hope we can find one that's as wonderful as Lisa Rowley, and in our budget!
Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Sharp for supporting him in his talent.  (They have only missed one).  You have no Idea how much it means to our kids when you make the trip up here just for short little programs.  My kids are very blessed to have the grandparents that they do.  The are so loved.

Of course it's not a crazy week, with out trying to find a day to celebrate our anniversary!  Happy 14th Anniversary to Alan and I!  Aaaahhh!  14 years, really?  Oh well even the best of us can't stop the aging process.  Notice I didn't post pic of us at this stage.  I thought about doing a weeding day pic., and an updated pic. but I was afraid people would think it was a different couple in each pic.

Angry birds is loved by even the cutest 10 month old.  Come on Kam, get those birds!  It's not a complete post without the cutest cheerleader in the world.  Oh my gosh, I so wish I could freeze time for at least 2 years.  I want to love and enjoy him at this age for at least that much longer.  Time has gone by so fast, but I guess I can't be selfish.  I am just grateful to have my gorgeous kids in my life!
Look at that cute little 2 teeth smile!  Love it!
Now, on to a cold snowy March!  Happy one to you all!  Love you!
