Basement Update

This post is mostly for aunt Marlene. Hope it finds you well! Finishing the basement is coming along. There's only a couple of corners left, and the drywall will be done. Of course Alan hates to mud and tape, so hopefully my friend will be available. I don't know why, but she loves doing it. The kids enjoyed helping dad on sat. Can't wait for an actual family entertainment room. Also, if anyone needs any electrical done, Tony Manning just started his own business. He is fast, honest, and affordable.

School is now in session!

Both kiddies are now in school! How sad. I really never look forward to school starting. I love being with my kids. They are both loving it so far. Alan of course is loving this time of year because... yes you guessed it FOOTBALL. First game is this Sat.! He couldn't be more excited.

Braedon's day!

Summer Recital

Today was Braedon's day to SHINE! And shine he did!

What a sweet boy he is! For all those wondering, yes he does throw his fits off and on about practicing, but only sometimes. He is such a great kid.

Now that's a face anyone can love. Thank you Gma and Gpa Sharp for not missing any recitals yet! It really means a lot! An hour and 10min. drive just for a 25 min. recital. We love you. We went to JCmichalson's for dinner after. It was yummy and fun. We love the trains all through out the restaurant.

Happy 4th of July

I hope every one had as much fun on the 4th(3rd) as we did. Alan's brother bringing his family always makes it extra special. Big slides, horse rides, yummy food, fire works, demolition derby, grandma spoiling them rotten, and PERFECT weather! More importantly, the freedom to be able to do all these things and more. What more could you ask for on the 4th!

Finishing Touch!!!!

We finally found and put up the finishing touch to this wall in Breadons room. He loves it. Very inexpensive at Quilted Bear, we did have to special order it though.

Swimming Lessons!

Canyon cook out!Alan's brother and his family came and stayed with us for the family reunion. He went back to work and his wife and kids stayed with us. We thought a hot dog cook out and smores in the canyon would be fun.

Splashing in Spanish Fork Res.

I was trying to think of fun entertainment with out paying tons of money. So off to Spanish for Res. we went. We had a blast for 40 mins. Then the wind, lightning, and thunder came.
