We decided since we got all of the shopping done early this year. We would take a fun trip to temple square with the kids and Grandpa and Grandma Sharp. The kids were so excited, because we told them that they would get to ride on the train. As we predicted, they loved it. We had a blast. There were so many people, still, somehow we managed to see some friends there. The lights were beautiful as always, and there were some new things. I hope that you take the time and experience what the true meaning of Christmas is. It is so easy to forget. It was cold, but worth it. I was in hopes of getting a few family pictures while we were there, but it was near impossible. There were so many people. We did manage to get a couple. We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and an awesome New Year.

Much to be Thankful for!!!
Another Thanksgiving filled with love. We had Thanksgiving dinner with Alan's family and it was yummy and fun as always. We ended up coming back home that night, Alan had to work the next morning. But, no problem, still had a fun filled weekend. My mom, sister, brother and their little families came up here the day after Thanksgiving. We hung out, did some shopping, and played card games. It was my nephews weeding on Saturday, so we decided to make an extra fun weekend and spend it all together. I love hanging out with my family. We are loud, but fun. Pictures are hard to post when you forget to take any to begin with. Maybe my sisters will let me use some of theirs. Can you believe, Christmas is here in one month, and I have all my shopping done, (Alleluia). I actually made it to Shopko for the early morning Christmas specials. I came out with all my gifts and made new friends in the process. I would call it a job well done. I don't know how people can shop all day that day. I did my two hours and came home and slept for another three-four hours. I really do have so much to be grateful for. Not just this time of year but every day of my life. Alan and I have such amazing families, and kind friends. Wishing you all a holiday filled with love and happiness!!!

So last weekend I came to a conclusion that I need to go behind Kambrie and apologize to whomever she comes in contact with. If you have had the privilege of talking with Kambrie you have had the 20 question experience, literally. I don't know where she gets it, it takes everything to get anything out of Braedon. When she was 2 she would go up to my siblings and if they were eating anything she would ask"what is that? Can I have some." Anyways, my family got together this weekend. As most of you know, I come from a family of many nationalities. I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. So, Kambrie, being the the curious one that she is, asked my older sister "why is Abbie so brown?" My niece is Hispanic and is darker than her siblings. I guess my sister didn't think that was very amusing. As if that wasn't enough, she decided to ask my younger sister who is oriental, "why are your eyes closed?" I was so embarrassed. I could do nothing but apologize. My sister on the other hand thought it was pretty funny and laughed. Alli, we love you, thank you for being such a good sport. Where do kids get these things? How do you explain things of this nature to a 3 year old? How is that for an exciting weekend? Alan is going to have the great experience of going to the Big Utah vs BYU game at the Rice Eccles Stadium. All I have to say is, you would have to be crazy to want to be in that kind of atmosphere. I'm an extremely competitive person there is no way I could handle it. I've read some quotes from fans on both sides. That would be me. I guess we'll see how many new kind words he comes back saying. Go Cougars!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to all my family and friends! I'm so thankful for all of you!

Huge BYU fans!!! Last home game of the season Nov. 8th, and Kambrie got lucky enough to go with the boys. She loves the games, but then again she is a daddy's girl. We made it to two games as a family the rest were Braedon and Alan. Sorry, we don't have pictures of that but we do kind of get into the game and forget.

Sending you all a small part of our lives. Being very new to the blogging fiesta, I hope not to bore you too much. As fall is here, we decided to do something new and fun this year. Our friends invited us to go pumpkin picking with them. Kambrie and Braedon absolutely loved it. Alan and I just watched as they went from pumpkin to pumpkin saying that each was the perfect one. The pumpkins are now carved and ready for Halloween(uuhg not my most favorite of holidays) but I guess you have to go with the crowd. We love living in Santaquin, we are close the city, and get the benefits of small town life. Having 4 sisters near by isn't too bad either, you almost always have a baby sitter when you need one. Oh and i guess i should mention they are fun to talk to and be around. We live in a great neighborhood and have such awesome neighbors.
Hope to post pictures as often as possible.
